David, Evan, and Naomi Nordstrom

K.David Nordstrom attended Luther Jr. College, Wahoo and is a graduate of Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran School of Theology, Rock Island, IL, and was ordained in the Lutheran ministry on 12/28/1963 at Thabor Lutheran Church in Wausa. He served in the U.S. Navy as a chaplain seven years and in parishes in Kansas, Texas, Osceola NE, and Holdrege, NE. He married Joan Marie Nelson 6/7/1959 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Wahoo.

Their family includes Richard, Rachel and Russell. Richard Eric is married to Deborah Kay Hyman. Rick is head basketball coach and a social studies teacher at Texas City High School. They live in Cypress, TX. Rick has one daughter, Nicole Marie. Nicole was born to Rick and Debra Ann Nordstrom, who are now divorced. Rachel Marie is married to Jeffry Adams. Jeff is a Senior Pastor at the New Life Evangelical Free Church in Aurora, CO. They have five children: Emily Marie, Benjamin James, Allison Leigh, Abigail Joy and Lauren Elizabeth. Russell Evan is married to Heather Price. Russ is a chemical engineer for Terra at Sioux City, IA. They have three children: Kathryn Linnea, and two sons, Ryan Philip and Tyler David.
